What we do, in detail

Four things, with the packaging weighed on every one of them.

Program 01 · SIC 46900

Wholesale supply

Trade terms are agreed in writing before the first order, not quoted after the first dispute. That means the payment period, the return position, what happens to a short or damaged delivery, and the limits of what we warrant about a product we did not make. A wholesaler who leaves those four things vague is not being flexible; it is deciding to argue about them later, when the money is already spent.

Online retail

Two commitments cover most of what goes wrong in distance selling. The price shown first includes the delivery charge rather than revealing it at the final step. And the statutory rights that come with buying at a distance are stated plainly instead of being described as a generous returns policy, because they are not a favour and calling them one tends to precede restricting them.

Program 03 · What the name says

Clearance and overstock

Clearance trading lives or dies on accurate description. Surplus stock, end-of-line stock, returned stock and damaged stock are four different things at four different prices, and a seller who blurs them makes one good margin and loses the account. So a lot is described by what it is, including the proportion that will not be perfect, and a buyer who needs certainty of grade is told to buy elsewhere.

Packaging and reporting

This stopped being a presentational matter when the fees arrived. Disposal costs are charged on the weight and material of packaging placed on the market, modulated from 2026 by how recyclable it is, and reported by nation of sale. The practical consequence is that the data has to be captured at the point of packing, because nobody can reconstruct a year of it afterwards from memory or from invoices.
